This is a blog about early Christian philosophy that influenced our Founding Father’s thinking as they drafted the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and this nation’s early laws.  The blog presents the view that the formation of the United States of America was nothing less than the completion of the Protestant Reformation.

This is not to say there were not other influences on our founders’ thinking.  They were educated, well read individuals.  They were familiar with the Greeks’ experiment in democracy and the Romans’ attempt at a representative form of government.  But these events are taught in current history books.  The Christian influence, for the most part, has been eliminated from history books.  Freedom’s Holy Flame explores the Judeo-Christian influence.  Because I changed the domain name, it is important to type in the new URL: http://freedomsholyflame.com.  Otherwise, the reader will end up at the discontinued blog site.  Once at the current blog site, the introduction will be the first post.  After the introduction, scrolling down will present the most recent post.  In order  to read the posts in chronological order, click  HOME.  It is important that the posts be read in chronological order.
